Target Stands - how to use |
Please meet at the club house a little bit before 9 so
that you can sign in (don't forget your work card, the right half ONLY) and get
your assignments.
Split and stack firewood (chainsaws).
Search for downed trees. Cut up into firewood length (16"~18") (Chain saws, ruler, could use an ATV with a trailer or get a trustee to run a tractor with a rear pallet.)
Mark property lines (accurate GPS with an app showing property lines. e.g. On-X, etc...)
Paint fence between trap and skeet weather permitting. (wear clothes you don't mind getting brown paint on).
Fill all trap, skeet and 5-Stand houses with birds.
Standup picnic tables and wrap up grill for winter.
Spread chips in the Pistol bays. (rakes and shovels)
Service the tractors: grease fittings and change oil/filters.
Clean up tractor barn, organize it for winter.
Knock down the base walls on the concrete pad where the old steel building sat on SR-534. (sledge hammers, jack hammer if you have one!!!)
Cut brush around Archery building (Chainsaws, loppers,)
Remove Archery targets from walking course. (Basic hand tools)
For those in need of light duty - deep clean the
clubhouse
See
a trustee if you have a particular job assignment you wish to work.
We have many jobs that need done. We can use your help
to knock them out.
If you can't make the regular work parties, but
would like to get your work hours in some other time, then send an
email to information_A_T_crooked-creek_D_O_T_org.
Or contact a trustee direct using the Trustees Phone Number list on the
Members only page.
If you see something that you can fix, send an email to information_AT_crooked-creek_DOT_org and a trustee will get back to you to arrange supplies and support to help you get the work done.
Any comments, additions or corrections can be sent to Bud Connolly crooked_D_O_T_creek_D_O_T_email_A_T_gmail_D_O_T_com or 440-259-3512.
